I just feel led to post this..

A cup of coffee and a leather chair...

God wants us to come to Him for everything .. including those small and appearingly "insignificant" details that don't seem to matter much.

I had a great friend pray with me over Skype last night.  She sensed that I was pretty overwhelmed .. in general.

As she was praying for the many things I'd have to do today, she specifically asked the Lord to "provide me with a hot cup of coffee and a comfortable chair" while waiting on my oil change.  This struck me as odd.. Why, I thought, was she so specific about something that really didn't matter much to me?

Fast forward to today.  I get to Zippy Lube and head inside as they start working on my car.  Cue the pot of hot coffee and the comfortable chairs (which were leather).  How often do you get to sit in comfortable leather chairs while waiting on an oil change?

Bottom line: Christ wants our everything.  Big or small, He wants to hear it.. Even those small and appearingly "insignificant" details that "don't seem to matter much."  There is nothing too great or too little for which He does not have control. 

And while the coffee and leather chair really didn't matter that much to me, God's provision taught me that there was nothing for which I could not come to Him.
